Delete your MotWise account

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

Open the MotWise app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Profile.
Tap Delete Account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Can't open the app?

Email hello@motwiseapp.com with the subject "Delete my MotWise account", sent from the email address registered on the account. We will confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in details.
Your learning progress: completed episodes, quiz results, listening time, streak, daily goal and level.
Your saved words and favorite episodes.
Feedback and bug reports you sent.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Data held in routine backups by our database provider is removed when those backups expire.

Your subscription is separate. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, because the subscription belongs to your Google account. Cancel it first in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, or you may keep being billed.

Guest accounts

If you used MotWise as a guest, your data is deleted automatically after 30 days without use. Uninstalling the app does not delete it sooner, so use the steps above if you want it gone right away.
